Capture the: All grown up but still in diapers moments! One day she will fit into those heels and walk out the door to her senior prom. You will try to hold back the tears so not to embarrass her. As she walks away all grown up, you will think to yourself “but it was just yesterday she was 6 and she was slipping all over the living room wearing my heels.”

Preach it! I couldn’t agree more! Now I just have to remember to keep my finger on the shutter and the smile on my face in the midst of the chaos!

I’m thankful that my dad loved to take pictures of my kids and my mom loves to scrapbook because there are several years “missing” from my books. Now we look back and I have the memories the captured and the kids love looking at the books, reliving the memories. And my mother, who suffers from Alzheimers is able to recall events from looking at the photos of days gone by with the family.

This is such a precious post. I love all of your pictures. I could just feel your agony as the looking at the baby sobbing. Then I broke out into a smile when I saw the high heels. That one is a real keeper. Finally, the budding artist at work…ah, what fun to clean up. It is so nice to be 73 and a grandmother. A mother’s job is never done. genie
