40 bags in 40 days challenge

One bag each day for 40 days. I know it seems like a lot but you will be amazed how quickly you can fill up 40 bags. Get creative when  you make your list think about your make up bag, gym bag, car trunk…. Feel free to print out the list above. Just right-click on the image and cut and paste into your document so you can print it. The last few are blank so you can fill it in with your own personal areas you want to declutter.

Here are a few things to think about as you as you declutter and purge:

  • Do you need it?
  • Do you use it? When was the last time you used it or wore it, if it’s been more than 4 months then toss it.
  • Have you used it more than a few times in the past year?
  • Do you like it?
  • Does it work?

  1. Great timing stumbling upon this! i feel like I’ve already started since I just did this with the Christmas decorations. Some of the stuff I didn’t even put out this year made it’s way to the yard sale box, and some to the trash can! i cleared enough room to include 1 rather large decoration I received this year, without having to buy another storage container.

  4. I started this on Thanksgiving and have not missed a day. Most days I fill more than one bag and today I filled five (150 books). Being an artist in Fiber and Glass, I also raise sheep, teach Senior computing and save everything for some future “use”. So there is plenty yet to fill my bags.
