Simple Summer Treat: Ice Cream Cone Rice Krispie Treats

rice kripie treats

I hope  you don’t mind all the rice krispie treat recipes because I truly am having fun getting creative with them!  Last week I made the Watermelon Rice Krispie treats that turned out absolutely adorable and  this week we made Ice Cream Cone Rice Krispies. I love getting creative with rice krispie treats!

This treat I just made for our kids to enjoy but it’s perfect for an ice cream party or classroom party like the one I share over here.

How to make your own Ice Cream Cone Rice Krispie Treats

1. Follow the same recipe I shared with you last week for the Watermelon Rice Krispies .

2. For the ice cream flavors:  Using a circle cookie cutter press into the rice krispie pan. Then decorate them with icing.  Buy a tub of white frosting and use food coloring to color each scoop of ice cream.

3. For the cone: Using a knife cut out a triangle shape.  I just used melted chocolate instead of icing.
