Baby Shower Gift and Decor: Diaper Wreath

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Huggies Little Snugglers and Latina Bloggers Connect!

baby shower diaper wreath gift

Preparing for a baby is exciting! And I especially love celebrating mom to be with a baby shower.  I’ve always struggled knowing what to get a mom to be, that pretty much has everything. So my go to gift is diapers–practical things I know she’ll use.

I’m sure you’re familiar with diaper cakes but when I came across my first diaper wreath I knew that was my next baby shower project.  They are so cute and easy to put together.  We have quite a few little mamas in our community and I can’t wait to celebrate with them!

So, whether you’re hosting the baby shower or attending one this is a cute gift and décor item to give. Hang it up to decorate the room and then let the mama-to-be, take it  home!

Baby Shower Gift and Decor: Diaper Wreath

You’ll need:

  • Huggies diapers
  • ribbon
  • wire or wreath base

1. If you’re using wire you’ll need to shape it into a circle. It doesn’t have to be a perfect circle since you won’t see it at all. Or you can find a wreath base at a craft store.

2. Now take your diapers and place the wire at the fold of the diaper and tie the top with your ribbon of choice.

3. When adding the next diapers make sure to overlap them (as show above) so that you don’t have big gaps in between each diaper.

4. Now add your accent items: small stuffed animal, mini baby bottles, ribbons, bow…  I chose to make a bow with paper and ribbon.

That’s all!  It was easy and it turned out so cute.

For the past 3 years, I’ve been a Huggies mom–from newborn to pull-ups we have enjoyed Huggies diapers. Give your baby unbeatable skin care with NEW! Huggies® Little Snugglers Diapers which is what I’m using for my diaper wreath craft.

Huggies recognizes there are some things you can’t add to your baby registry – is there something you wish you could add, but simply can’t? Register your wish at Huggies.com/RegisterWish (http://bit.ly/HuggiesRegistry) for your chance to make it a reality. If you’re selected as a winner, Huggies will do everything they can to make your wish come true.
