Today my little guy was busy decorating his Christmas tree that’s been sitting under the stairs all month waiting for someone to give it life.
Well, at some point I saw him “stealing” ornaments from my tree. Which after he noticed I told him it was okay. But little did I know that I would end up with a half naked tree. All the ornaments from the bottom half of the tree up to where he could reach are now missing off my tree.
I didn’t mind because we are traveling over Christmas break so little did he know he was actually helping me by sneaking ornaments off our tree. I love all things Christmas tree decorating so I was glad he was having so much fun decorating his own little tree.
Though I think it’s funny how kids want to help at an age when they still really can’t, but when they are old enough to help, they are the least bit interested. Well, he was determined to be quite the little helper this morning. He helped me make this fun Lil’ Smokies Wreath appetizer for my girls Christmas tea with our neighbors. He helped me get the sausage inside the dough and loved every minute of it.
It’s such an easy appetizer and it turned out great!
