Halloween Decor: Boo Wreath
You’re not going to believe what I made this wreath from. You won’t believe that it only took me 10 minutes to put together and not only that but I had everything in my house to make it!
I love all things fall so I don’t do much Halloween decorating because it takes away from my leaves and pretty fall décor. But this year my son has been begging that I put up Halloween décor. I don’t own any other than what I’ve used for parties that I don’t consider home décor. So I decided it needed to be cheap and fast, if I was going to invest on a Halloween home décor project.
This Halloween Wreath is kid-friendly, after walking through the Halloween section at the store it will definitely make you want to go home and make something that doesn’t have guts and blood coming out of it. My kids aren’t into that in this stage of life.
If you’re like me or a teacher who’s not wanting to spend tons of money on your room décor, I’ve got your back with this idea! Enjoy!
Oh, I have the above cute spider tutorial over at See Vanessa Craft for her 30 Crafty Days of Halloween Series. I’m sharing my cute Fuzzy Wuzzy Pom Pom Spider so stop by and check it out. Stop by her blog and check out all the fun Halloween crafts she’s been sharing.
Halloween Decor: Boo Wreath
Supplies:
- Napkins
- glue
- paper plate
1. Once you’ve decided what fun Halloween napkins you’ll use, all you’ll need is 4 single 30X33 napkins. You’ll open it up and cut them up into 4 separate pieces.
2. Take one square and fold in two of the edges so they are touching in the middle.
3. Place it on the paper plate and scrunch it in the middle once you’ve put glue on it–to create a scrunched up look.
4. As you can see from the picture above (back of wreath image) what I do with the ends is fold them back.
5. Do this all the way around the paper plate and you’re done. Decorate with whatever you want.
I placed my wreath in my frame and added spiders, including my fuzzy wuzzy spider! I love how it turned out!
