Edible Science Fun: Psychedelic Yogurt

Your kiddos are going to enjoy the psychedelic colors spread throughout their yogurt with this fun and simple science experiment.  All you  need is plain or what ever flavored yogurt you want and skittles.  Drop in the skittles colors you want and wait 8- 12 mins and the colors will start to spread on their own.  After you see them creep up the glass you can also slowly stir them around to get them going.  If they are younger you can go over the colors as they drop each skittles in the yogurt.

Simple Edible Science Fun:

This is a chance to observe the way molecules move and spread and to go over the properties of colors.

You can change it up and use one drop of food coloring and watch it spread.
