I am excited to be back again this month sharing a simple party craft that you can easily make for your next event.
Lollipops are a childhood favorite and they make fantastic party favors or classroom treats!  With Easter just around the corner I want to show you how you can transform store bought lollipops into sweet treats and custom favors the children will love.

All you need are a few inexpensive supplies and less than an hour to put together this fun project.
Supplies:
  • Lollipops, the flat variety work best.
  • Paper: Solid textured paper for the base and coordinating patterned paper for the circles
  • Accessories:  ribbon, paper trimmer with scoring blade, 2” circle punch and scallop punch, adhesive (I used 3D pop dots)

Step 1: Take your solid textured paper and cut 2 ¼”x 6″ strips, score at 7/8″, 2 ¼”, 3 ½” and 3 7/8”.

Crease along score lines.

Step 2: Using a small hole punch or an eyelet setter tool punch a hole in the middle of your first set of score lines.

Step 3:  Take your coordinating patterned paper and make circles using your 2” circle punch.  I used patterned paper from the Dimpleprints Easter Collection.  Then use your coordinating paper and cut 2” scallops with your scallop punch.  Glue your patterned circles to the scallops.

Step 4: Embellish your circles with coordinating stickers or printables.  I wanted mine to reflect the rest of the details for our Easter Egg Hunt party, so I took the cute little chick, bunny and lamb that were in the party package and cut them out.  Attach them to the middle circle using 3D pop dots.

Step 5: Put your lollipop through the hole and fold the ends over and secure. Add your scallop to the center and tie a ribbon to the stick.

Now you have a cute party favor that will put sweet smiles on all your little party guest!
