Organize & Declutter: 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge

declutter organize

Decluttering, purging and organizing your stuff maybe something on your mind at this time of the year.  Or maybe it’s something you have been trying to avoid for the past weeks.

Friends, it’s time to get started and I am here to help you!

We talked about this last year and I wanted to revisit the idea because we have been cleaning and purging this past week in mi casa.  There’s something about taking Christmas decoration down that gets you in the mood to purge and organize. It’s work and it’s wonderful.

“Simplicity is the ultimate form of Sophistication.” Leonardo de Vinci

Is “Simplify”, a word you want to see in 2013?

I want to  help you get rid of those things you have been holding onto for years and keep telling yourself that one day you will need it so hopefully our 40 Bags in 40 Days Challenge will help you.

Stay tune for more  great articles or you can follow us via your favorite social network to get our updates:Twitter, Pinterest or Facebook and our readers preferred way via email.

40 bags in 40 days challenge

One bag each day for 40 days. I know it seems like a lot but you will be amazed how quickly you can fill up 40 bags. Get creative when  you make your list think about your make up bag, gym bag, car trunk…. Feel free to print out the list above. Just right-click on the image and cut and paste into your document so you can print it. The last few are blank so you can fill it in with your own personal areas you want to declutter.

Here are a few things to think about as you as you declutter and purge:

  • Do you need it?
  • Do you use it? When was the last time you used it or wore it, if it’s been more than 4 months then toss it.
  • Have you used it more than a few times in the past year?
  • Do you like it?
  • Does it work?
