Peanut Butter Apple Crumble

This peanut butter apple crumble is amazing! The crumble taste like a delicious oatmeal cookie.

We’ve been having cold and rainy days here so I have been in the mood to bake so our house will  warm up. Here where we live the houses dont’ have central heat or air conditioner but I usually can count on my oven to keep us nice and toasty when my husband is not around to get the fireplace going.  Yes, I hate to admit but I don’t know how to start the fireplace. I tried once and it was pathetic I was glad that no adults were around to laugh at me.

If you love peanut butter you’re going to love this yumminess!

Peanut Butter Apple Crumble

  • 5 apples thinly sliced
  • 2 tbl flour
  • 1/2 cp white sugar
  • 1/2 cp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 cp oats
  • 2 tbl butter
  • 4 tbl peanut butter
  • 1/3 cp brown sugar
  • 2 tbl of apple juice

1. In a ziploc bag mix the apples, flour, white and brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Shake until it’s well blended.

2. Pour mix into a greased pan.

3. In a medium size bowl mix the oats, butter, peanut butter and sugar using a fork and then your hands. It’s supposed to resemble a crumbly mixture.

4. Take your crumbly mixture and spread evenly. Then pour the apple juice over the crumble and bake. You can use water if you don’t have apple juice.

Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

Note: I usually make this when I am in a hurry during dinner so I heat the oven and when I am done mixing the apple mixture I place that in the oven while I make the crumble mix to speed up the process. Then I take it out and sprinkle the crumble and place it back in the oven for the remaining time.
