April 14, 2012 by geekandsassy

Contributing Writer: Virginia Davidson I'm going to tell you how to do everything in your life! Take a minute and read these verses. Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” (Philippians 2:14-16 - in the NIV version) Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted … [Read more...]

Favoritisim in Blogging

March 29, 2012 by geekandsassy

Contributing Writer: Virginia Davidson Standing in a crowded room of people I tend to not talk much. The words get stuck in the back of my throat and I feel overwhelmed. What if I say something stupid and totally embarrass myself? Instead I stand back and claim that I'm taking in the room and "people watching." Davidson (sis-in-law) Here's a recipe that I impressed the crowd with for a baby shower.  Perfectly pink for the arriving girl!  This was a last minute combination I found in the store to replace a punch I found a little too pricy for my taste.... INGREDIENTS: 1 can of frozen pink lemonade (let thaw) 1 2 liter of lemon-lime soda (refrigerated) 3/4 cup of frozen raspberries - add right before serving or color will leave raspberries. DIRECTIONS: Mix soda and frozen lemonade … [Read more...]

This is our 5th story in our 8 part series, Loving Your Man When It Hurts! You can find all the stories here. Contributing Writer: Virginia Davidson  There have been plenty of times I have disappointed others and others have disappointed me - including my husband.  It seems the closer the person is to you, the harder the disappointment hits.  When we're talking about our spouse, it's a doozy! It's always funny giving advice - like I have it all together.  We would all admit that none of … [Read more...]
