10 Ways to Eat Yogurt: Healthy Toppings

Yopa logo

Yopa! Greek yogurt is a delicious, new addition to my healthy lifestyle. Thanks to Yopa! for sponsoring this post!

I have always been a yogurt lover but since I started my “healthy” eating kick back in January I have embraced Greek yogurt.  It’s thick and creamy and packed with nutrition. I had no idea that they made flavored yogurt. So if you don’t like plain yogurt don’t worry there are all sorts of variety of flavors for you offered by Yopa!.

My favorite flavors are chocolate and vanilla almond. I can easily have Dark Chocolate pieces yogurt as a healthy dessert alternative. Place it in the freezer and you have a yummy frozen treat. Or it makes a great healthy lunch snack. I know as a mom of little ones I am always looking for healthy snack alternatives and this definitely makes the cut.

Why Greek Yogurt? Mix in the quality nutrition and thicker texture, and you’ll feel satisfied much longer than most non-strained, lower protein Greek yogurts. Yopa!™ 3.5 oz cups are a good source of protein and Yopa!™ 5.3 oz cups are an excellent source of protein. Our 3.5 oz cups contain at least 16% of the recommended daily allowance of protein, while our 5.3 oz cups contain at least 26% of the recommended daily allowance!

Good source of calcium

0g of cholesterol and trans fat

Made with 5 cultures and 3 probiotics

No preservatives or artificial colors (and only one product has artificial flavor – vanillin)

Speaking of balance, gold medalist Gabby Douglas is an expert, and she’s challenging you to take the Yopa! Taste Challenge where you can win a variety of prizes, including $10,000! Just “like” Yopa! on Facebook for a chance to win.

Yopa! comes with its own delicious toppings but here are a few of my favorite things to add to my yogurt.

Get creative with your yogurt toppings:

Lemon zest and coconut flakes

peanuts and pretzels

Oatmeal or granola

Fresh fruit: bananas, strawberries

Cinnamon and apples

For a healthy dessert alternative:

Add peanut butter to the dark chocolate flavor

Add Lemon curd to the strawberry flavor

Add pretzels and peanut butter

Caramel sauce and nuts

Graham crackers and chocolate pieces
