Amazingly Delicious Caramel Filled Cookies

Apples, caramel, pumpkin, white chocolate, yummy soup, cranberries... all things Fall, dancing in my head! The Fall season, is my favorite time of the year.  But their is a problem: Fall doesn't exist here where we live, we only get Winter and Summer. My solution: I try to fill our home with all things Fall around this time of the year, since nature doesn't provide its beautiful reds, browns and golden leaves in our neck of the woods. daily living encouragement

To Think or To Feel? That is the question.

When faced with a difficult or trying experience, do you "feel pure joy"? I have struggled with this verse "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials... knowing that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." Pallet Wall Decor- Hanging Vases

Pallet crafts ideas are all over the internet but this one is my own little creation, Pallet Wall Hanging Vase.  I love rustic Fall decor! You can hang it up out on your patio or bring it indoors. I enjoy having fresh flowers in my home and this is a great way for me to display them. I especially love it when my thoughtful little men and man, are the gift bearers.  ... continue reading...

Mud Hen Bars

Simple Birthday Celebrations and Traditions

I like "Big Parties" and I can not lie! I realize that some kids are introverted, and the thought of being the center of attention, and having lots of kids around them is not in any shape or form considered fun. Also, add to that the cost and time in throwing a party, it can get expensive. My mother always found ways to make us feel special without having to throw a party.  She wasn't a baker but on our birthdays she would whip out her Betty Crocker apron and make us our very own cake.  ... continue reading...
