Our marriage gets lost in the sea of daily life--a whining toddler, a tween who won't take a bath and making sure your stunt man doesn't fall out of the 12 ft high tree he's decided to climb. Then there's the overflowing basket of laundry and dishes, jeans to mend and meals to cook. So, it only seems fair to let hubby fend for himself. After all, he's a grown man and you're just one person with 2 or 3 little people vying for your attention. By the time night comes I'm exhausted. There are ... continue reading...

I made it once breaded with pecans and some kind of sauce and to this day when I say I'm making tilapia, one of my boys checks to make sure it's not that recipe. I have a feeling now they'll be asking me if it's the ... continue reading...

On my bucket list for our Mexico trip was--eat chapulines, yummy friend grasshoppers. I share at the end of this post if I actually mustered up the courage to eat them or not. In case you missed this little tidbit about me, I'm Mexican. It brought such great joy to my to explore Mexico with my children and hubby. When I was engaged to my husband we went to visit ... continue reading...
