The dinosaur party theme is a versatile theme that can work for you son or daughter. Girls can dig dinosaurs too! My son turned 6 and he couldn't make up his mind on what he wanted but I was so glad he chose this theme over Star Wars mostly because I don't care for commercialized themes.  It's just a personal preference not because there is anything wrong with them.
