Build Your Own Paper Rocket Ship {Valentine’s Day Craft}

February 14, 2014 by Inspired by Family Mag

I'm always looking for easy ways for my kids to make their own Valentine's day cards.  I've been brainstorming this idea for weeks and I finally get to see it come together.  My requirement for any mass craft is it has to be inexpensive and simple.  I don't make my kids Valentine cards for them, they make their own so if it's not short and simple my boys lose interest and it's a flop. Back in the summer we made a boat launcher using  a straw and my boys loved playing with it.  So this is … [Read more...]

February 6, 2013 by Inspired by Family Mag

DIY Yummy Conversation Hearts are not only delicious but easy to make. I love all the things you can do with conversation hearts: art projects, educational games and crafts. DIY Paper Bag Lanterns

January 23, 2013 by Inspired by Family Mag

Another way to spice up your evening party, romantic dinner or your family meal is with these lovely Paper Bag Lanterns.  Perfect for a fun family meal for Valentines day.  Also, the first thing that came to my mind when I lit them was, "I wish I had thought of this for our wedding." One of my boys is all about the ambience a chip off the block. That's one of my requirement for eating out, that the ambience is appealing as well as the food. For me an appealing ambience doesn't mean fancy. I … [Read more...]
