Putting this “Skateboard” big boy bedroom together for my son has been bittersweet. Though all my home projects are for our whole family, it has been fun to work on a project specifically for my oldest. I was so excited for him to arrive from school to see the beginning stages of his new room. Just as I thought, he loved it!
It’s been sad because I have enjoyed listening in to their conversations at night as all three of them rambled about their day. Also, the fact that my little boy is no longer so little he has entered into the preadolescence stage of life and before I know it his room is going to smell like a locker room.
