Father’s Day: DIY Grilling Gift Set

diy grilling gift set

I usually have my husband’s gifts planned way in advance but lately our life has been a roller coaster and I haven’t had time to get anything together until today. I definitely don’t want to go the route I did last year ,I shared it here I Can’t Believe I Did This for Father’s Day.

My husband is hard to shop for but this year he told me he wanted a gas grill.  I was thrilled to know exactly what he wanted, so I started doing my price and brand research.  Soon after, we had some friends tell us they were selling a grill for a good price. He went and checked it out and bought it. So much for my “surprise” Father’s day gift.

Well, this morning I decided I would make some gifts that revolved around his new toy–the grill.  So I am making him:

4 Meat Rub Recipes

– 4 different meat rubs that are delicious. (recipe and printables for jars are here).

– Grilling kitchen towel to keep outside with his grilling tools.  I think I am going to stencil on Chillin’ & Grillin’ on the towel.

– Grilling Guide below (printable)

And the great thing is my kids will be able to help me make all of this if they wish to and I know they will.

I found all the temperature info over atEating Well.com. All cooking times based on medium-high grill temperature and cooking with the grill lid closed.
