Nature Scavenger Hunt Free Printable
I really enjoy scavenger hunts. They’re such an easy activity to put together and kids love them as long as they are not drawn out and tedious. We also like to make crafts with the outdoors, I share about our Fun Outdoor Activities and Crafts here.
What I love about this scavenger hunt is it has you smelling, touching, listening… getting you to explore nature not just picking up things. One of the things I have been trying to do more intentionally is point out the beauty in nature. God’s creation is a beautiful gift that we shouldn’t take for granted but, unfortunately, sometimes I do.

The lovely colors of Fall and cooler weather is here, it was time for us to get outside and explore!
Go to a park nearby or even just out in your neighborhood and have your kids collect some of these items. You can come back and make a collage or fun nature art with it. Stop by Babble/Disney and get 18 ideas on how to enjoy nature this Fall with your family.
One of the fun things I have been doing with my son is adding an educational component to our neighborhood walks. We homeschool and the days are absolutely gorgeous so we take the learning outdoors and at the same time we get to squeeze some exercise in.
