craft kids dessert party ideas

Easy No Bake Snowman Cookies

I put together a Polar Express Party for my son’s birthday a few weeks ago. I had a busy week so I wasn’t able to work on his party until the day before.   Therefore, I was looking for shortcuts.  Here’s one of the dessert food shortcuts I took to simplify my life.

Not to mention these are great if you want a group of kids to make cookies without making a big mess.

Didn’t they turn out so cute?

Easy No Bake Snowman Cookies

Ingredients:

  • white chocolate dipped cookies (any kind that are flat would work or you can dip oreos yourself)
  • Chocolate dipped sesame seeds or chocolate chips
  • candy corn or orange taffy or soft candy that you can mold
  • corn syrup

1.  I use corn syrup as my edible glue for my baking.  The lovely think is it dries clear so I it doesn’t matter if I make a mistake. With that said I dabbed a small amount on the cookie before I placed the snowman face on.

Use the chocolate chips for eyes and mouth.

Use the candy corn for nose

Once I did a couple of them I was able to whip them up in no time.  Everyone was so impressed by them and little did they know these were made in less than 10 minutes (I only made 15).

These are absolutely adorable! My son picked them out as one of his Christmas Cookie choices this year. He LOVES Oreos and snowmen, so it was a no brainer for him. I’m super excited to feature this post with one photo in a collage as part of my Operation Christmas Cookie post at http://everystarisdifferent.blogspot.com. Thank you so much for sharing!
