For the past 12 days since 1st of January hit, a little soft voice kept nagging at me saying, “Get organized woman!” Though I used the word “nagging” don’t get me wrong I LOVE the smell of fresh white clean calendar pages! I love the idea of a fresh new start and though it’s not the 1st of January of for that matter the first week of January, I’m still going to set myself anew!
For those of you who’ve started New Year goals or resolutions don’t be afraid to get a fresh start now. Or tomorrow midday when you’ve had a cookie and you told yourself you weren’t having any sugar. Starting over, starting fresh is freeing so go for it even it you just got started. That’s what I love about my faith, in Christ, I can start over when I come to him broken and seeking to be redeemed. But I NOT only start over I can start new with His power and strength.
I never been busier than now.
I homeschool.
I’m a freelance writer.
I’m a missionary and do lots of service projects/events/gathering in our community.
I’m a principal’s wife. (enough said)
I’m a mom of 3 precious and growing boys.
I’m an artist, dreamer and creator at heart.
I’m a social butterfly.
And we’re going gluten free in our home (where there are no gluten-free products, that means lots of time in the kitchen). So as you can see, I do NEED to get organized. If you’re in the same boat with me and finding that the only way your going to enjoy what’s on your plate, enjoy your family, have time for yourself and just live is by getting organized then you’re at the right place.
Let’s get organized mama!
Here are the planners and tools that I’m using:
This is from Mama Miss ( I got the all inclusive package but you can buy each pack individually: blogging, menu and daily planner). What I love about it – It’s beautiful and it’s practical! She thought of everything I’ve wanted to organize in my blogging and freelance writing job. It’s fabulous! You can find the blogging, daily and menu planners here.
Blogging Planner –
I especially love the Pinterest organizer section of this blogging planner. I usually don’t pin things more than once out of fear that I have already pinned it there and come across as a spammy pinner. Plus, it drives me nuts when I see other bloggers pin their post 20 times and it shows up 20 times on my feed. Here’s a picture of her lovely Pinterest Board tracker. Oh, and since I got the all inclusive I was able to fit it all into one planner and it coordinates wonderfully.
Homeschool Planner –
This is what I’m using to get organized with homeschooling: DIY Teacher Planner from Science Teaching Junkie. I loved how cute her pages were designed and she has tons of helpful pages but as a homeschooler some didn’t apply but for the most part I have used all of them.
Meal Planner –
This one I dread using, mostly because I love to cook on the whim. But Mama Miss is making it much more pleasurable with her lovely printable. I’m an inspired cook and planning meals takes all of the fun away (at least in my mind) but I have no other option if I hope to keep sane.
Cleaning Schedule
Cleaning Schedule – This little cleaning schedule is making me get excited about cleaning! I found it here at Making Home Base blog and we will use it until I can make my own because we are already having to adjust it to our life which is a lot of our cleaning will get done on the weekend and this is only for the weekday.
Monthly Daily Planner –
Monthly/Daily Planner – Is also from Mama Miss and I’m in love! It has To do, Notes pages, dates to remember…
Well, I hope I’ve inspired you to GET ORGANIZED MAMA! Wish me luck and here’s hoping you have some happy planning in the weeks and months ahead.
