Mother’s are the best! At least mine is and for the most part my kids think I’m pretty cool (or at least that’s what I tell myself). I was at the library the other day and I ran across a group of school kids who were working on a Mother’s day project that had them share why they thought their mom was great. It was so fun to listen to their responses as I perused the book shelves. If only, their moms could have listened in on this.
I heard things like:
She’s like a star.
She’s beautiful.
She cooks for me.
She loves me.
She does my homework. Ooops. (Quickly a teacher asked for clarification on that one.)
Sometimes we don’t have the joy of hearing words of praise for the sacrifices we make on a daily basis for our families. I shared a little about that here, “Some Days All You Need to Hear is, “You’re Doing Okay Mom.”
Well, this group of school kids inspired me to come up with this printable. I homeschool one of my boys so I had him work on this with his brothers one afternoon. It was lovely for the most part, my middle child who hates working at anything gave up after writing one thing.
Here’s your free printable. Dads print it out and have your children fill it out. Moms don’t feel bad handing one of these to your kids. Just click here10 Things I Love About You Mom to download your FREE printable.
The lovely thing about this printable is you can give this to your mom no matter how old you are.
