One minute he was holding my pinkie with all his introverted might, afraid to let go and in the next breath he’s running off and not looking back.
Over the summer I happen to come across a few of my mini notepads that I would keep in my purse when I was in college. They are full of quotes, verses and prayers. It was sweet to go through those memories, remembering the circumstances for the verse I jotted down or the quotes I scribbled in between class assignments.
As I flipped through the food stained and sweat dripped (I use to run and hike with my mini notepad) pages, I thought how so many of these scribbles that I wrote in the midst of life and struggles were things I wanted my boys to remember.
Then there was three! Yup, I have three little men whom I love dearly. It’s an honor to be their first love! My youngest is cracking me up in the picture below. He’s like–what’s going on up there.
So throughout my blogging journey I will share with you some of those scribbled notes. Feel free to email them, post them onto your son’s Facebook wall or tweet them and of course some of these apply to girls but since I don’t have girls I’m sharing it from my perspective as a mother of boys.
There are over 100 quotes from famous people, myself and bible verses that I’ll be sharing, so enjoy the journey with me as I share these with my boys alongside of you.
