What I Am Reading

I've always been one of those people who reads a bunch of books at one time.  I'm also one of those people who rarely finish a book.  And now that I have a Kindle I don't think I'll ever finish a book because I'm continuously downloading free books online but I guess if I'm going to have a vice this is a good one to have. I am currently reading the following: Life Giver by Lara Williams - I just opened this one up and I'm loving it. The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog by Bruce D. Perry, ... continue reading...

Science Experiments for Toddlers

I've always been fascinated by science, though to be honest I don't want all the science lingo. I was actually quite disappointed because I had a whole productive day planned ahead for myself (alone) of going through toys, ... continue reading...

My healthy snack food to have around is hummus because it screams out for veggies.  My kids usually devour the veggies as if they were eating chips just so they can dip it in the delicious hummus. Today I decided to experiment a little with my seasoning packets.  I debated between Ranch seasoning or French Onion ... continue reading...

These Chubby Little Fingers

I love these chubby little fingers. They are the last in our household before they hit the official "big boy" stage. And before I know it, they will transmogrify into the strong, long fingers and arms that will look more like their fathers than mine (thank goodness for them). What is it about those chubby little fingers that makes me want to kiss them over and over again at night?  I cup them as he whispers his bedtime prayers in his lingering baby voice, "Gawd, tank you for mommy da ... continue reading...
