Oh, how I wish healthy eating was easier to do. Usually my healthy eating goes out the window when I’m super busy and I’m not home. So I end up snacking on tons of junk and sweets.
My healthy snack food to have around is hummus because it screams out for veggies. My kids usually devour the veggies as if they were eating chips just so they can dip it in the delicious hummus.
Today I decided to experiment a little with my seasoning packets. I debated between Ranch seasoning or French Onion seasoning.
I was feeling somewhat on the wild side so I went with French Onion. I wasn’t sure what this would end up tasting like but it was absolutely amazing. And the lovely thing is that you can enjoy every bite, guilt free.
Healthy French Onion Dip Hummus
- 2 cups of cooked white beans
- 1 tbl lime juice
- 2 tbl olive oil
- 1/4 cp greek yogurt
- 1 package of french onion dip seasoning
- 1 garlic clove
- salt to taste
Mix all of the above ingredients in a food processor until creamy.
Enjoy with veggies or pita wedges.
