From the dining room I could hear the sounds of a happy little boys--zoom, crash, beep, beep. I looked over and he was playing with the wooden car track his dad had made him and his cars. As a parent one of the delights I've had over the past 10 years is listening in on their play. Oh how my heart finds great delight in their conversations, in their pretend play and in the mere car noises that came of their little lips even before they could speak. This week I've been working on different ... continue reading...
Nature Scavenger Color Hunt
We have spent this past week exploring nature with my kids and to be honest, I'd keep the books on the shelf all week, to spend our days exploring nature. These are some of the things we brought back after visiting the markets in Puebla, Acolman (festival), Mexico City and Xochimilco. Mexico's Handicrafts: What to ... continue reading...

I'm feeling positive about this with my 30 Days of Better Eating Weekly Meal Plan! Though one of my goals is to lose weight, my overall goal is to make better choices at meal times. Honestly, I hate planning meals but I'm ready to start my healthy, weekly meal plan in ... continue reading...
