According to my blog readers I'm a camping expert, lol. Seriously, out of all the things I write about this camping post--Camping with Kids has been the most popular and Camping with Kids Activities & Crafts coming in second. We actually do enjoy camping and try to do it as much as possible since it's a great reason to get out of the city and enjoy some unplugged time as a family. So, I've come up with some of my favorite campfire dessert recipes here that we have tried and enjoy … [Read more...]

Campfire S’mores Cone

September 15, 2014 by Inspired by Family Mag

My favorite part of camping is S'mores! Actually, truth be told I camp because I know I'll get s'mores at some point. Here are some of our other favorite camping articles and most popular on my blog: Camping … [Read more...]

May 23, 2014 by Inspired by Family Mag

I was gloating to my "professional" camping husband that according to my website I'm also a pro camper.  He laughed but then I showed him my blog stats and pretty much every day for the past year this post right here "Camping With Kids: Packing Checklist and List" it gets 100's of views daily, just yesterday I had 850 views. He then says, "You only know those things because of me." Ha! Well, I guess it's sort of true. So here on my website, I will be sharing with you some of my camping … [Read more...]

Camping with Kids Activities & Crafts

March 4, 2014 by Inspired by Family Mag

I've been wanting to write this, "Camping with Kids Activities & Crafts" article for years now but I've never gotten around to it until now. Here are ways to have fun with your kids while camping. Though I must be honest with you, my kids don't really need activities to have fun in the wild.  But if this is your first time camping or you really haven't done it much and feel like you need to ease into camping with some pre-planned activities these have worked wonderfully with my boys and … [Read more...]
