The Easiest Easter Party Favor for Kids

You’re going to love this Easter Craft for Kids: Bunny Cups!

I love all things spring!

I almost got married in the spring! I specifically wanted an Easter wedding in an old southern plantation home in South Carolina.

Well, I didn’t get a spring wedding. We got engaged in late February so booking everything in time for a Spring wedding was pretty much impossible. Everyone freaked out for me when I announced a May wedding.  So an April Easter wedding was out of the question.

But I did get a beautiful historical southern plantation wedding!

I wanted a spring wedding because of all the symbolism and hope that’s associated with this month. God in us. The cross redeeming our life and transforming us. Victory!

I can go on and on for hours about spring and the symbolism it carries for the earth and humanity. How the warm sun thaws us out after a long winter. The morning spring light fills my bedroom with dust bunnies. The birds are parading all around me singing songs of hope after a dark and cold winter.

It reminds me of all things beautiful, the soft colors and the budding flowers.

Well, these bunny cups scream — let’s play in spring.

Aren’t they adorable!

Spring Craft for Kids: Bunny Cups

  • plastic or Styrofoam cups
  • construction paper or scrapbooking paper
  • glue
  • cotton balls

1. Cut our small bunny ears in shape of ovals from your paper.

2. Cut a thin strip of paper out that will fit out around the upper edge of your cup and glue it.

3. Finally, glue the ears to the thin strip.

Optional: glue a cotton ball or pom-pom to the other end for the bunny tail.

Fill it with candy, toys, or food! Easy enough to make for your Easter gathering or your child’s classroom party!

Now go play in spring!!
