For all of you Orange Julius lovers here’s a healthy version of this drink. It’s really good but don’t expect the sugar packed Orange Julius you get at your smoothie joint.
I have been experimenting with smoothies this year because it’s a good way to sneak in veggies in your kids breakfast. I think I may try to sneak in carrot juice in this smoothie next time. My boys never figure out that there are veggies and they always ask for seconds.
Healthy Orange Julius Smoothie
- 1.5 cps Orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cp of spinach
- 1 cp of vanilla yogurt or 1/3 cp of coconut milk
- 1 tbl honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cps of ice
Mix in a blender all of the above ingredients and enjoy!
