Curious George Stones Tic Tac Toe Game

holiday family games
This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and WGBH.

Holidays are the times when I am trying to come up with ideas on family games that kids of all ages can enjoy together.  Together, is key because I really love having all the ages enjoy each others company for at least part of the time.  And the perfect little game that kids of all ages can enjoy is Tic Tac Toe.  Don’t you think so? It’s such a non-intimidating game and quick.

When I discovered this Curious George printable I had to use it because in our home we are crazy about this fun filled monkey.  We absolutely love this little monkey and all the mischief he gets into!  We have Curious George books and we have watched Curious George The Movie like a hundred times. I personally love the music so I don’t mind watching it with the boys.  I heard they have a new movie out called, Curious George A Halloween Boofest!  It’s adorable!

Well, this Tic Tac Toe game is adorable and perfect for Fall with all of the pumpkins and leaves flying everywhere it’s simply screaming Halloween party activity or Thanksgiving Activity. So I came up with this idea to print off the game and place the Tic Tac Toe pieces on stones (perfect for little fingers).

Curious George Stones Tic Tac Toe Game

Supplies:

  • Stones
  • Curious George Printable (download for free here)
  • Tape
  • laminate (optional)

1. Print off Tic Tac Toe game on durable cardstock and cut out. If you want to reuse it, you may consider laminating it or covering it with contact paper.

2. Place pieces on the flat part of the stone and over it with tape.

You’re done, now wasn’t that easy!

Oh, and if you want to catch the new Curious George Movie here’s the info:  Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest It’s the first-ever Curious George Halloween special, a full-length movie with 3 new songs!Nothing says “Halloween” like costumes, pumpkins and spooky stories Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest finds George unraveling the eerie mystery of No Noggin – a ghost who appears in the countryside each Halloween, intent on kicking the hats clean off the heads of trick-or-treaters. The brand-new, one-hour movie airs Monday, October 28 on PBS KIDS. Now available on DVD.

Happy family time!
