We love reading as a family so it won’t come as a surprise that I have some favorite Christ-Centered Books for Easter.
We also enjoy using books to help our kids process the values and beliefs we are teaching them. In the midst of it we also read for fun as a family we just finished the Hobbit with our kids and next on our list is a Wrinkle in Time.

5. Benjamin’s Box The Story of the Resurrection Eggs – You can make your own resurrection eggs or buy them online HERE we purchased a set years ago and still use it every year.

7. Amon’s Adventures by Arnold Ytreeide – This one is great for 2nd grade on up. Or if you have avid readers who are younger and enjoy hearing stories read aloud, they may enjoy this.

Easter Advent & Devotionals for the Family
These resources are set up for the family who wants to dive into daily devotions or advent countdown calendars that lead to Easter. The lengths of each vary.
- The Garden, The Curtain, And the Cross Easter Calendar– This can be used as a companion to the book with the same title (mentioned above #3). It has a 15 day daily devotional with a pop-up advent calendar.
- The Easter Storybook explains who Jesus is, what He did, and why His death and resurrection matter, in a simple way that children ages 4-8 can understand and remember. It’s a 40 day devotional.
