The girly girl inside me is loving all of the ruffles and rosettes that are trending in home decor. Dress your party table up with this lovely flowing ruffled tablecloth.  You won't believe how easy it was to make, so stick around and I will show you how.  I bought the tablecloth on clearance after Christmas for $3 and the strips of fabric were left over from Christmas crafting. It took me 2.5hrs to complete.  I love turning my sewing projects into NO SEW!  Back in October I made a No Sew … [Read more...]

January 10, 2012 by Inspired by Family Mag

If your dinner time is anything like ours, your meals aren't always greeted with excitement by your kids.  Unlike Proverbs 31 mom, my children are not rising up from the table and calling me blessed, when they see our dinner.  Nevertheless, I continue to dabble in Around the World recipes but adjusting them to a more kid friendly version.  Sometimes that means allowing them to top my gourmet meals with ketchup. I know, disgusting but hey I have to pick my battles.  This month I will be sharing … [Read more...]
