We had our Cinco de Mayo fiesta this past weekend! One of the fun things we had for guest was a sombrero and mustache photo props activity.
As always, I like to take this day to share with others that Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico’s independence day, but it’s actually commemorating the victory between Puebla, Mexico and the French. Mexico won!
Viva Mexico!!!
So, I made this fun printable (shown above), you can download it and print! Just click here: Cinco de Mayo Printable
Me and the hubby, getting our “fiesta on”.
Cinco de Mayo Photo Props and Printable
Okay, so what you need is construction paper or poster board it’s sturdier, for the sombrero. You need foam sheets for the mustache but you can also use construction paper. I did mine freehand but you can download a coloring sheet (here’s one) of a sombrero
and mustache and trace it onto your construction paper, then just cut it out and decorate it.
Note, you don’t need your sombrero to be huge, it’s actually funnier if it’s small. But if you want it bigger than the coloring sheet then just enlarge it.
Aren’t my little Mexicans adorable!
